Good News! Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital's Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education Program Approved as a National Recommended Project

Recently, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NATCM) issued the Notice on the Announcement of the National Recommended Traditional Chinese Medicine Continuing Education Programs for 2026.

The program submitted by Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital, "Training Course on the Clinical Application and Promotion of Intelligent Diagnosis and Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis Integrating Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine" (Project No. GZZYJJTJ2320001), has been officially approved as a National Recommended Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Continuing Education Program.

With the incidence of cervical spondylosis increasing year by year and affecting increasingly younger populations, the program focuses on leveraging the complementary strengths of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine. It combines traditional TCM therapies—including Chinese orthopedic manipulation (Zhenggu) and acupuncture—with modern precision diagnostic and therapeutic technologies such as visualized ultrasound-guided interventions and neuromodulation. Renowned experts from across China will be invited to deliver the program through an integrated teaching model featuring theoretical lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on technical training. The program aims to cultivate high-caliber healthcare professionals who are proficient in both TCM syndrome differentiation and intelligent diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, thereby effectively enhancing the service capacity of primary healthcare institutions.
