On April 30, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Beijing time, The 2nd International Forum on LVA Surgery for Alzheimer's Disease will be launched globally. The event will be broadcast live worldwide with dual-channel simultaneous interpretation, focusing in depth on cutting-edge research topics such as the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and the application of deep cervical lymphaticovenous anastomosis surgery in its treatment.
The forum will feature a keynote lecture by Prof. Wiltfang, Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Medical Center Göttingen, Germany, who will join the conference online. Prof. Wiltfang will deliver a presentation titled “Blood based early and differential diagnosis of Alzheimer's Dementia as a prerequisite for novel preventive treatment options.”
Prof. Wiltfang developed a polyacrylamide gel system called SDS-PAGE early in his career and more recently pioneered the Aβ-2step-Immunoassay. His team is dedicated to the development of biomarker-guided early diagnostic tools for Alzheimer’s disease, enabling diagnosis through blood tests up to 15 years before the clinical onset of symptoms.
