The Sino-German Future Hospital Presidents Summit and Dialogue Global Live Broadcast 2020 was held at Guangdong Clifford Hospital on the afternoon of October 23, 2020. The summit was warmly inaugurated in the form of global live broadcast with simultaneous interpretation. Presidents from both sides shared their most cutting-edge hospital management experiences and valuable discussions came afterwards. "Countries have borders, but health care services don’t." Health Care Shares No Borders, Global Co-development Will Be the Trend
Prof. PENG LinJi, President of Guangdong Clifford Hospital is the Chairman of the summit, "Countries have borders, but health care services don’t." As the President of the Hospital of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich, Member of the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and award winner of Federal Cross of Merit in 2016, Prof. Jauch gave a lecture titled “Present and Future in Health Care-LMU–Munich experience” on the webcast, sharing his experience in managing a worldwide prestigious university hospital. He believes that innovative cooperation can provide better services for patients, and that countries around the world are currently facing problems such as aging populations, increasing patient expectations, and fierce competition among hospitals, and that strengthening regional and international cooperation can be a good solution to these problems. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Prof. LIAO SiZhao, President of Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University who was interviewed outside of the summit venue, believed that the most important thing is "being patient-centered", the other thing is custom-made development according to the hospital's positioning. President Liao said, as a university hospital, medical treatment, teaching and scientific research are indispensable to the hospital, and it is also essential for the hospital to develop new technologies, to introduce more advanced means of treatment and to provide a more humane service; What's more, the hospital also aims at simplifying the process as far as possible and provide a better medical service which is more convenient and more comfortable through Internet technology. "In the future, the hospital will also pay more attention to disease prevention."
