5月31日仁医医疗三人团队从广州启程飞往德国法兰克福，开启为期两周的访问行程。他们将拜访海德堡、美因茨、哥廷根以及吉森的大学附属医院，进行深度合作交流。
海德堡大学附属医院神经外科
6月2日10:00，仁医医疗三人团队拜访了海德堡大学附属医院神经外科，与科室主任Krieg教授及其团队进行了深入交流。此次交流由副主任Suchorska教授具体对接。
合作会谈结束后，神经外科团队特别安排了Dr. Nohman带我们实地参观了科室的门诊、病区和重症监护病房。这份安排让我们深感重视，也非常感激他们的周到接待。
Dr. Nohman向我们介绍，海德堡大学附属医院神经外科是德国排名前列的神经外科中心之一，在国际上也享有盛誉。早在上世纪90年代，该科室便成为全球第二个引入术中MRI系统的神经外科中心，仅次于波士顿，并在2000年代初期引进了术中CT，技术更新始终走在前列。
目前科室设有三个病区，每个病区配备约20至25张床位，共有4间专用手术室，每年完成约4000台神经外科手术，其中包括约2000台脊柱手术、500台胶质瘤手术和500台颅底肿瘤手术。此外，科室还配有一个神经外科专属的重症监护病房，共11张床位。不同于多数医院将重症监护室交由麻醉科统一管理的做法，海德堡大学附属医院神经外科的ICU完全由神经外科自主负责，由经验丰富的主治医生团队直接管理，保障重症患者的连续性和专业性照护。
参观中让我们印象深刻的还有两个岗位设置：一是医生助理，这一岗位不属于医生或护士，但能够完成抽血、换药、引流等基础临床操作，有效减轻医生工作负担；另一个是患者管理专员，主要负责门诊结束后的住院、手术安排等沟通协调工作，将原本由年轻医生承担的流程性事务专职化。这种设置在提高医疗效率的同时，也优化了医患沟通方式，使年轻医生能更专注于临床技能训练。
此次交流令我们收获颇丰。Krieg教授团队对中德医学合作展现出专业而开放的姿态，而在门诊、病区及重症监护病房的实地参访，更让我们直观感受到这家德国神经外科顶尖中心在组织架构、专业分工及临床流程管理上的高度成熟与精细。他们在临床诊疗的持续探索和引领，以及在人员配置上对效率与质量的双重考量，均体现出一种“以病人为中心”的现代医院理念。这些经验与理念为我们带来了许多启发。

At 12:00 noon on June 2nd, the team of three from Gloryren arrived at the Heidelberg University Hospital to visit Prof. Auffarth, Director of the Department of Ophthalmology.
His team had thoughtfully reserved a meeting room and prepared chocolates, biscuits, and coffee for our visit, demonstrating both warmth and attentiveness. The meeting room was adorned with many ancient books, some of which are even 400 years old. Prof. Auffarth shared with us that the Department of Ophthalmology at Heidelberg University Hospital has a history of 200 years and is one of the most prestigious and largest ophthalmology centers in Germany. The Department of Ophthalmology at Heidelberg University Hospital is not only one of the earliest university-affiliated ophthalmology departments in Germany, but also a leading clinical and research institution in Europe. It covers almost all subspecialties of ophthalmology, including cataract and refractive surgery, retinal diseases, glaucoma, corneal diseases, ocular tumors, and pediatric ophthalmology.
The department is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment equipment and boasts an international medical team. It is an important medical center for patients in Germany and Europe and also serves as a bridge for international academic exchanges. Prof. Auffarth himself has world - class influence in the fields of intraocular lens research and development and refractive cataract surgery. He told us that he has been supervising Chinese doctoral students for more than 20 years and has established stable cooperative relationships with many top university hospitals in China. Many of his students have become directors or held important positions at university hospitals after returning to China. When we introduced Gloryren’s German MD Program and Visiting Professor Program, Prof. Auffarth showed great interest.
He particularly values our ability to conduct professional pre-screening of doctoral candidates' educational backgrounds and language proficiency. He mentioned that there were cases where Chinese applicants he personally selected were ultimately rejected by the University of Heidelberg because their educational qualifications were not recognized by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB), which was very regrettable. He hopes that with our professional support, such situations can be avoided, and the overall application efficiency and success rate can be improved. He told us that there are two open positions in his lab every year, and would be happy to host possible candidates recommended by Gloryren.
At the same time, he also confirmed that he will visit China in 2026 to participate in the 6th Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management, Specialty Construction & Talent Cultivation hosted by Gloryren. And he will visit China again in this summer and will attend Gloryren’s interview program - The World’s Great Doctors, sharing his valuable professional insights and life experiences with young Chinese doctors and peers.

At 13:30 on June 2nd, the team of three from Gloryren went to the Thoraxklinik University of Heidelberg to visit Prof. Herth, Medical Director of the hospital. Located in the tranquil Rohrbach district of Heidelberg, it is a specialized hospital for the treatment of lung diseases.
Prof. Herth personally welcomed us in his office. The walls of his office were adorned with numerous appointment certificates and awards from academic societies, institutions, and hospitals across Europe and China. He introduced to us that the Thoraxklinik Heidelberg, with a history of over 125 years, is one of the oldest and largest specialized hospitals for the treatment of lung diseases in Germany, and also is the largest medical center for lung diseases in Europe. The hospital receives approximately 70,000 patients annually, including 50,000 outpatients and 20,000 inpatients. The hospital has always focused on lung diseases, developing a highly specialized diagnosis and treatment system, which has facilitated long-term and stable partnerships with multiple top respiratory medicine centers in China.
Prof. Herth specifically shared that the hospital’s research primarily focuses on translational medicine—"using today's patient samples and data to develop treatment methods for the next generation of patients"—emphasizing that research should serve patient care. He also showed us the hospital’s certifications and honors awarded by professional societies in Germany and Europe.
As a globally recognized leading expert in respiratory endoscopy, Prof. Herth has long been deeply involving in promoting the respiratory endoscopy techniques around the globe and has actively collaborated with multiple top respiratory medicine centers in China, supporting numerous clinical research projects and technique introductions. With a great passion on medical education, he founded "Pulmonology on Air", an online medical education platform that regularly organizes public courses with experts from around the world. The Pulmonology on Air China Launch Event 2025 will start on June 13th, featuring live lectures by top Chinese and international pulmonologists to further deepen international medical exchanges.
After learning about our German MD Program and Fellowship Program, Prof. Herth highly recognized their value, describing the programs as well-structured and professionally organized. He also shared challenges encountered in past collaborations with Chinese hospitals. He hopes that partnering with Gloryren will enhance the efficiency and success rate of Sino-German exchanges.
We were pleased to agree that we will meet again in Beijing in early July this year.

6月3日16:30，仁医医疗三人团队前往海德堡大学附属医院，拜访妇产科主任 Zivanovic 教授及其团队。
教授的助理早早在会议室等候，为我们准备了咖啡、饮品和甜咸点心，细致周到。Zivanovic 教授与三位年轻的妇科肿瘤专业进修医生一同出席了会谈。在我们简要介绍了仁医医疗的发展背景与合作模式后，Dr. Hermann与 Dr. Köhler向我们系统介绍了他们团队的妇科肿瘤专科进修项目。
该项目聚焦于妇科恶性肿瘤的临床与科研能力培养，仅向已完成妇科专科认证的医生开放申请。项目总周期为四年：前两年进修医生在德国癌症研究中心（DKFZ）从事科研工作，并参与每周一次的妇科肿瘤多学科会诊；后两年则在海德堡大学附属医院的相关临床科室轮转，全面提升妇科恶性肿瘤诊疗能力。Zivanovic教授强调，这是一个高度专业化的培训路径，符合当前医学日益“亚专科化”的发展趋势。
Zivanovic教授自2023年起担任海德堡大学附属医院妇产科主任，加入前曾长期在纽约斯隆·凯特林癌症研究所执业。他拥有国际化的临床与科研背景，致力于将先进的肿瘤治疗理念融入德国妇产科的诊疗实践。他所领导的妇科肿瘤中心是德国国家癌症中心认证的高水平诊疗与研究单位，核心关注卵巢癌、子宫内膜癌、宫颈癌等多种妇科恶性肿瘤的个体化治疗与综合管理，强调精准医疗、创新临床路径与多学科合作。
在交流中，Zivanovic 教授高度肯定了仁医医疗的理念。他表示，近年来在国际会议上频频见到中国同道在妇科肿瘤领域的突出贡献，但苦于缺乏合适的渠道，难以实现深入交流。他坦言，自己每天都收到不少来自中国学生、医生和研究人员的联系请求，但由于数量庞大、背景各异，确实难以甄别与统筹，因此看到我们这样的专业机构介入合作推进，让他感到非常安心与期待。他希望今后能借助仁医医疗与中国开展更直接、更深入的合作交流。

At 17:30 of June 2nd, the team of three from Gloryren visited the Heidelberg University Hospital to meet Prof. Wick, a Fellow of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, Chairman of the German Science and Humanities Council (WR), Vice Dean of the Medical Faculty at the University of Heidelberg, Department Chair of Head Clinic of Heidelberg University Hospital and Chair of the Department of Neurology at Heidelberg University Hospital.
Despite just returning from a trip to Bonn, Prof. Wick kindly made time to meet us and thoughtfully prepared handmade macarons from a local bakery in Heidelberg, which deeply touched us.
During the meeting, Prof. Wick mentioned that last year, he accepted Doctor Liu from Capital Medical University as his MD doctoral student via Gloryren. Two weeks ago, Doctor Liu officially received funding confirmation from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and will join Prof. Wick’s team this October to start her doctoral studies. Prof. Wick also shared with us his team’s latest research progress in glioma. a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field of neuroscience and oncology. This project not only holds significant potential for clinical translation but will also lay a solid scientific foundation and provide a global perspective for doctor Liu’s future career development.
The Department of Neurology led by Prof. Wick is part of the Head Klinik of Heidelberg University Hospital and is one of Germany’s leading centers for neurological diagnosis, treatment and research. The department specializes in key fields such as neurooncology, stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunological diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. With around 340 staff members and 16 research groups, the department integrates patient care with scientific research, emphasizing the translation of basic research into clinical applications, demonstrating a high level of expertise and foresight.
This November, Prof. Wick will visit China to attend the Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management, Specialty Construction & Talent Cultivation 2025 as a member of the European Presidium. We look forward to meeting him again to further promote in-depth Sino-German exchanges and collaboration in medical research and talent training.
