In 2020, the outbreak of COVID-19 didn't hinder the reciprocal learning and supports of all doctors around the globe. In last year, Gloryren organized 198 Sino-German internal academic meetings of different specialities and set up 4 great brands of global live broadcasts, with topics including spine surgery, joint and sports medicine, traumatological surgery, foot and ankle surgery and hospital president management. These four brands of virtual events namely are Sino-German Minimally Invasive Global Live Broadcast in cooperation with AO Spine, International Knee Day in cooperation with German Knee Society, Sino-German Global Webcast on Trauma Surgery and Sino-German Future Hospital Presidents Summit and Dialogue Global Live Broadcast, and Gloryren has finished 10 academic live broadcasts quite well with accumulative 747,000 online views. We will continue the virtual events circling these four great brands in the coming future, as it's international authoritative exchanges and international training projects that help to bring industrial-changing technologies to support the medical sector.

The 2nd Sino-German International Spine Minimally Invasive Technological Symposium jointly held by German Spine Society, Spinal Endoscopic Fusion Group of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and Henan No.3 Provincial People’ s Hospital, the 27th Spine Endoscopic and MIS Technology Salon and Spinal Endoscopic Anatomy Technology Forum kicked off on May 15 to 17, 2020.

We honorably invited Prof. Michael Mayer, the founding president of German Spine Society and the world MIS spine master, Dr. Daniel Rosenthal and Prof. Christoph Siepe, the well known spine masters to attend the online conference, giving surgical guidance and sharing experiences with Chinese colleagues. Supported by the great commentary by Prof. YAN Ming, attendees could get closer to the current endoscopic technologies of spine surgery and OLIF technique. There were 10 surgeries broadcasts arranged on cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine under full endoscopic and one about OLIF technique, with analysis and commentary over the whole procedure. In addition, the feast of knowledge also provided opportunities of practices such as 3D model-supported operation practice and anatomy practice on cadavers.

On June 12th, initiated by the German Knee Society (DKG), the first International Knee Day-Scientific Paper Online Meeting was held with great attention from all over the world. The three scientific Chairmen: Prof. Dr. Wolf Petersen, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Sven Scheffler and Priv.-Doz. Dr. Thore Zantop invited 35 colleagues from 17 countries to give presentations on the latest research as well as clinical experience on knee.

Sino-German Global Webcast on Trauma Surgery kicked off on November 10th at Beijing JiShuiTan Hospital, with two parallel venues at Shenzhen Second People’s Hospital and Guangzhou First People’s Hospital.
