• Introduced new and innovative techniques and procedures into the hospital such as ankle arthroscopy, correcting osteotomies and arthrodeses of the hindfoot complex and total ankle replacement

• Main conceptor of the HINTEGRA ankle

• Published over 190 peer reviewed articles in Orthopaedic surgery in particular relating to ankle arthroscopy, ankle instability, ankle osteoarthritis, total ankle replacement and foot and ankle trauma

• The author of 5 medical textbooks related to reconstructive surgery of the ankle and hindfoot complex

• Conducted medical teaching activities in Switzerland and around the entire world
